Meet Jennie
Jennie Bretschneider
Jennie graduated from the University of California, Davis, where she met her husband Matthias. After finishing their Master’s Degrees at the University of Freiburg in Germany, Jennie and Matthias returned to Davis to raise their two kids, Yannick and Hanna. Jennie served for many years as a consultant in the California State Assembly and Senate and as counsel to the California Secretary of State. During that time Jennie earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence with Honors from McGeorge School of Law and established Davis Wills & Trusts in 2011.
When she’s not at the law office, Jennie enjoys early morning runs, pickleball, kayaking, sailing, and just about any outdoor activity in, on, or near Lake Tahoe.

Together we design estate plans that work to realize goals, minimize risks, avoid taxes and court involvement, and keep families on the right path toward the future.
In creating an estate plan, we discuss your concerns, carefully consider options, and design a plan to fit your situation. When we finish an estate plan, clients often say, “I can’t believe we put this off so long. Thank you for making this so easy for us.”
