Emma Shoemaker joined Davis Wills and Trusts PC in 2025 after completing her undergraduate degree in English and Professional Writing at the University of California, Davis.

During college, she worked as a Legal Receptionist at the Law Offices of Tosh G. Yamamoto and also as a Dean’s Student Assistant at the UC Davis School of Law.

Emma grew up in the Seattle area and moved to Sacramento about ten years ago. She has grown to love the region and spends much of her free time exploring all that Northern California has to offer—backpacking along the coast, exploring small Gold Rush-era towns, or skiing near Lake Tahoe. Emma also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading classic novels, and distance running.
